Kashmir: BJP leader kidnapped in Sopore, security forces launch manhunt to trace him

Aasif Suhaf, Srinagar: Unidentified individuals suspected to be terrorists bundled a BJP activist into their car and kidnapped him in Watargam space of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Identified as Mehrajuddin Malla, the BJP leader was at present vice-president of the municipal committee in Watargam.

BJP Spokesperson Altaf Thakur advised information 24 that Vice President Municipal Committee Watargam, Mehrajuddin Malla had come out from his home and was strolling on the highway when a car stopped close to him and the boys contained in the car got here out and whisked him away.

“After lodging him forcibly into the Santro car, the kidnappers threw away his cell phone on the road,” Thakur mentioned including that Malla could be kidnapped by terrorists.
