Karan Johar makes a big decision on ‘Dostana 2’ casting, wants to stay away from nepotism

Everyone once again started accusing Karan Johar of nepotism and now, Karan has found a shield to avoid this arrow of nepotism.

It is being told that after Kartik was dropped from the film, Karan considered many stars like Akshay Kumar, Rajkummar Rao, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra, and Siddhant Chaturvedi for ‘Dostana 2.’ According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, Karan has held several meetings with his creative team and director regarding the casting of the film and Johar is trying his best to get Akshay Kumar. Not only this, Karan Johar has made another big decision.

It is being told that he is not in the mood to take any risk after the charges leveled against him in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. He also wants to cast an outsider with Akshay Kumar in this film so he can somehow avoid the debate of nepotism. It is being told that 5 names have been shortlisted for this, 4 of them are outsiders.

The shooting of the film has stopped at the moment and it is being told that a decision will be taken only after the lockdown ends. Janhvi Kapoor and debutant Lakshya will also be in lead roles in the film and whoever the new casting will be, will play the role of Karan’s brother. The film’s story is all about the brother and sister falling in love with the same boy.
