New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already postponed the Session-3, ie JEE Main Examination to be held in April. Candidates are now waiting for updates regarding the May session exam. However, the NTA has not yet made any announcement regarding the conduct or postponement of the May session.
Session 4, i.e. the JEE Main Examination to be held in May from May 24 to 28, 2021. The May session examination will be conducted for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. After the April session exam was postponed, the candidates are now waiting for the latest update on the May session. It is also possible that the NTA opens the registration window for the May session. However, given the current situation, many candidates believe that the May session examination can also be postponed.
The examination was deferred in the JEE to be held in the month of April in view of increasing cases of corona virus epidemic in the country. In this regard, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank shared the information by tweeting on 18 April. Along with this, a notice was also issued on the official website. In the notice, it was said that keeping in view the current state of the epidemic and keeping in mind the safety of candidates and examination officers, it has been decided to postpone the session of JEE Main 2021 April.
This time the JEE Main Examination is being conducted by the NTA in four sessions. In which two sessions, i.e. February and March examinations have been conducted. 620978 candidates took part in the February session examination. Whereas, a total of 556248 candidates had appeared in the examination for the March session. The results of the exams of both the sessions have also been announced.
