JEE Main 2021, May session postponed due to covid-19, says Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal



New Delhi: JEE Main 2021 May session has been postponed due to Corona virus. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has given this information. The National Testing Agency has postponed the JEE Main Examination 2021 starting May 24, keeping in mind the safety of students.

The examination has been postponed in view of increasing cases of corona virus. The May session examination was to be held on May 24, May 25, May 26, May 27 and May 28.

As per the official notice, registration for the May session will be announced later and the revised dates for the April and May sessions will also be rescheduled. The Education Minister wrote in his tweet that the JEE Main May session examination has been postponed due to the current situation arising out of the corona virus and keeping in mind the safety of the students. He said that the students kept visiting the official website for any kind of information.

Many other examinations have also been postponed in the view of the way in which the number of infected patients is steadily increasing in the second wave of corona virus. Any official information regarding the JEE Main exam will be given on the official website. Before that, due to the increasing infection of Corona virus, the Union Ministry of Education had decided to postpone all its offline exams to be held in May.
