‘Janta Curfew’ beginning of long battle: PM Narendra Modi

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Sunday the 14-hour ‘Janta Curfew‘ is the beginning of a long battle in opposition to coronavirus outbreak and the countrymen have proved that collectively they will defeat any problem.

“Today’s Janta Curfew could finish at 9.00 pm, however this doesn’t imply we begin celebrating,” he tweeted.

He stated the self-imposed curfew ought to “not be considered as a success” as it’s the “beginning of a long battle”.
