Jammu: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday unearthed a tunnel under the international border with Pakistan in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials said that during an operation this morning, a tunnel across the border to facilitate infiltration of terrorists was detected by BSF personnel in Bobian village. Senior BSF and police officers have reached the spot.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested 23 people after several raids at various call centers in Srinagar in connection with cyber fraud and hacking.
According to the police, the First Information Report (FIR) was filed under sections 66, 66-B and 66-C of the IT Act, and sections 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The FIR on the report of cyber fraud and hacking was lodged at the Cyber Police Station, Kashmir Zone, Srinagar. Police later conducted several raids in Srinagar and arrested 23 people.
