New Delhi: Veteran actor of Bollywood, Rishi Kapoor passed away last year and left a void in people’s hearts. On Thursday, Late Rishi Kapoor’s wife, Neetu Kapoor shared a throwback video with her husband on his 11th-month prayer meet. The video is from their last trip where we see the senior actor happily crooning away a song from his film 1999 release, Aa Ab Laut Chalen as he enjoys the views there.
Posting the clip, Neetu wrote, “Since today is Rishiji’s 11 month prayer meet felt like sharing some moments from our last trip to NYC.” Remembering the late actor, Anupam Kher said, “Fir teri kahani yaad aai.”
Riddhima Kapoor also shared a photo featuring the family and wrote, “Your love will light our way- Your memory will forever be with us! Always in our hearts ♥️.” Ekta Kapoor, fashion designer Manish Malhotra, Ayaan Ali Bangash and Sophie Choudry reacted to her picture and posted red heart emojis.
Rishi died on April 30, 2020 after a struggle against cancer. He went to New York for treatment and stayed put for nearly a year, getting treated for the disease. Talking about Neetu’s professional front, the actress will next be seen in the family entertainer Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which also features Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor. Neetu was last seen in the 2013 movie Besharam alongside Rishi Kapoor and their son and Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor.
