IPL 2021, DC v RR: Match Preview, Probable 11, when and where to watch

MumbaiIn the last game for both teams, the batsmen have been in top form. Delhi Capitals batting duo of Shikhar and Prithvi were showing off their batting skills and hit the ball to the boundary ropes.

The Royals may have lost their first game, but new captain Sanju Samson almost took them home with a smashing century in a huge chase of 222. He scored 119 runs and has become the first captain to score a century on VIVO IPL captaincy debut.

Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson are without a doubt two of the most talented wicket-keeper batsmen in the country, and they’ve both proven their skills with the bat and behind the stumps. However, both of them are leading a franchise for the first time, and how they do in that department will also have a huge bearing on the game.

A big tension for Royals that Ben Stokes is obviously out of the tournament. Jofra Archer has been given clearance to resume “light training” post surgery, but there’s no clarity on his IPL participation yet.
