Indian team reach England, Rohit Sharma confirmed by posting a picture

New Delhi: Indian team has set their foot on England’s soil for a long tour which comprises of World Test Championship and Test series against the home team. The players are posting pictures individually, KL Rahul posted a picture of their arrival at London airport Rohit Sharma shared a picture on his Twitter handle from Southampton with his fellow mate Rishabh Pant. It is confirmed that the Indian team including the players has reached England safely in a charter plane.

The team will leave the hotel directly from the airport and this hotel is also in a way in the stadium premises. The Indian team will take on New Zealand in the WTC Final from June 18 to 2 before playing five Test matches against England.

In the pre-departure press conference, Indian captain Kohli decided to face every question with a response that must have lifted the morale of the camp. He said the team’s focus is on playing better cricket than the opposition and the conditions do not matter to him and his men.

“Play better Test cricket. That is all. Conditions are the same for us as well as New Zealand.

“Australian conditions should have favored Australians (but India won). It’s how you look at the situation. If you want us to board the flight from here, feeling like New Zealand’s got the edge, then there’s no point taking that flight.

The Indian team is going to spend three and a half months on the soil of England, where from June 18, the Indian team have to play against New Zealand in the final of the World Test Championship.
