Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of light and heavy rain in many areas even today. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh today. With this, the IMD has predicted torrential rains in Kerala for the next five days.

There is good news for the people of Delhi who are waiting for long rains. Light rain is forecast for today as well. According to IMD, the sky will be generally cloudy and light rain may occur. However, Mahesh Palawat, vice-president of private weather agency Skymet Weather, has said that there will be no rain on Monday and Tuesday.

According to Skymet Weather, Punjab, remaining parts of Rajasthan, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha, Jharkhand, North Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, There is a possibility of rain in some parts of the country.

Light rain is possible over Ladakh, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Northeast India and Gangetic West Bengal and foothills of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is likely over South and Central Madhya Pradesh, parts of Chhattisgarh, North Telangana, Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Light to moderate rain is likely over Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Marathwada, Southeast Rajasthan.
