IND vs SL 1st Test Day 1 Live Score: India were 109/2 at Lunch on Day 1 of the ongoing first Test against Sri Lanka at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali. Playing in his 100th Test, Virat had joined Hanuma Vihari in the middle. The pair will look to anchor India’s innings in the second session. This comes after India opener Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal were dismissed by Lahiru Kumara and Lasith Embuldeniya, respectively. Rohit and Mayank had given India a positive start by taking them past the 50-run mark without any hiccups. However, Lahiru Kumara struck in the 10th over to dismiss the India skipper. At the toss, India captain Rohit Sharma announced that the team will line-up with three spinners and just two pacers. Jayank Yadav joins Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin in the spin department while it’s a similar looking pace duo of Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. FOUR RUNS! GOOD SHOT!
Excellent shot from Vihari. On the fuller side of a length, not a half-volley at all, and in the corridor. Presses forward and transfers his weight into a punch-drive to find the gap between extra-cover and mid-off
Live Score; IND: 62/1 (11.1)
OUT! LAHIRU KUMARA STRIKES TO REMOVE ROHIT!
Rohit Sharma departs after a rapid start. Lahiru Kumara gets the breakthrough. A good short ball, angling into the body, so he doesn’t get the room he needs to place it where he wants or roll his wrists over the top of the bounce. He ends up hitting it in the air, straight into the hands of the fielder at long leg

FOUR RUNS! FINE SHOR FROM MAYANK!
WHAT A SHOT! Pitched short, angling across, and gives Agarwal the time and room he needs to rock back and punch it to the right of backward point for a boundary. Good start this for India.

FIRST RUNS ON THE BOARD FOR INDIA AND ROHIT!
India are off the mark with Rohit. Back of a length, angling across to finish close to off stump, and that’s a positive shot early on, gets on the back foot and punches crisply to the right of backward point.
Live Score; IND: 1/0 (1.2)
Suranga Lakmal starts with a dot ball. Not much bounce. A bit of outswing on a tight fourth-stump line. Agarwal stays in his crease and defends towards point.
