New Delhi: Monsoon time is almost near in different parts of the country. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has said in its forecast for Wednesday that there may be light rain and partly cloudy sky in the Delhi-NCR region.
Along with this, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and rain in many districts of Himachal Pradesh.
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of rain in different parts of many states including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana today. Apart from this, strong winds will prevail in the coastal areas, due to which a warning has been issued to the fishermen.
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has shared this information on its official Twitter handle. In the monsoon season of June, July, August, September, there is a possibility of normal, below normal and above normal rainfall in various parts of the country, the department tweeted.
Apart from this, the department has also tweeted the presentation of IMD’s DGM Dr M Mohapatra on the forecast for rain during the southwest monsoon.
A warning has been issued in six districts of Himachal Pradesh – Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Solan and Sirmaur – regarding thunderstorm and rain at a speed of 40 km. It will continue to rain for two more days in the mountains of Uttarakhand.
In the plains also, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms. The current weather is giving relief from the extreme summer heat due to the rain accompanied by strong winds in various parts of the country.
