‘I’m not feeling amazing’, tweets singer Charlie Puth as he tests COVID-19 positive

New York: Popular American singer Charlie Puth took to social media to reveal to his fans that he had tested positive for COVID-19. The singer took to Twitter to share the news with his fans.

Charlie tweeted, “Hey everyone. I tested positive for Covid this morning. I’m not feeling amazing but I think the worst is behind me. I write you this update, feeling like complete ass, in hopes that you will be safe and careful this holiday season. Love you and I’ll speak to you very soon.”

A number of fans commented on the post, wishing him recovery, or expressing gladness that he was already vaccinated.

“Ed Sheeran tested positive too, but he was vaccinated like you and it wasn’t that bad, please take care of yourself, it’s gonna be ok. We love you, don’t forget that,” shared one fan, while a second wrote, “Much rest. Eat nutritious food and drink lots of water. Don’t forget to take vitamins and more importantly exercise, pray and think positively. Looks like watching a comedy show or movie would be better. Get well soon my idol Charlie We love you.”

“Nothing will happen, sweetheart. Now the variant of COVID, Omicron is not that strong. Just stay safe and healthy now. You will be COVID free soon,” shared a third person.

Charlie Puth gained fame with his debut album Nine Track Mind which was released in 2016. According to a report in Daily Mail, he had teased back in March that he is working on a new novel, but not much is known about it as of yet.
