IGNOU Open University: Date extended for submission of re-registration forms, check how to register



New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the date of admission in IGNOU for the January 2021 session, along with the last date for submission of re-registration forms. The last date for the students to complete the online application process is now 31 March 2021. Students who have submitted an online application so far can visit IGNOU’s official website ignou.ac to complete the application for the January 2021 session.

According to the official notification, the extension of the admission date or the date of re-registration has also been extended. Re-registration links are available on the official website of IGNOU. Re-registrations are being made for undergraduate, postgraduate, semester-based programs of two to three years duration for next year or next semester. Candidates can complete the IGNOU January 2021 session re-registration by following the steps available here.

How to re-register for the IGNOU January session 2021: 

Step 1- Visit the official website i.e. ignou.ac.

Step 2- On the home page, click ‘register on the portal’.

Step 3- Read the instructions and click on “New Registration”.

Step 4- Log in and register, fill up full details- name, date of birth, etc.

Step 5- Pay the registration fee and submit the application form.

Step 6- Download and save the IGNOU application form for further reference.

If you have already applied to the portal, you can use your username and password to log in. If students have any problem with registration, IGNOU has also issued a helpline for this. On this helpline, students can call them during office hours and get their questions resolved. The helpline number issued by the university is 011-29572513.
