New Delhi: Tata Motors has sold out the 1,50,000th model of its Tata Nexon. The company has rolled it out from its Ranjangaon production plant in Pune. The company launched its sub compact SUV in the year 2017. It got amazing customer support in the Indian market.
Tata Nexon achieved its first milestone in September 2018, when the company produced 50,000 units of it and at the same time, a year later, the company rolled out the one million production model of Tata Nexon.
Tata Nexon is available in two engines in the Indian market. These include 1.2-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter turbo diesel engines.
Tata Nexon’s 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine generates 120 PS maximum power and 170 Nm peak torque. At the same time, the 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine of Tata Nexon generates maximum power of 110 PS and peak torque of 260 Nm.
Talking about the safety features of Tata Nexon, it has features like dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, traction control, hill-hold assist for safety and it is the cheapest car in its segment that comes with a sunroof. The ex-showroom price of the XM (S) variant with its sunroof feature is Rs 8.36 lakh.
Both the 1.2-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter turbo diesel models of Tata Nexon have the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Nexon is a 5 seater SUV and has a length of 3993 mm, width of 1811 mm depending upon the variant and fuel type, the Nexon has a mileage of 17.0 to 21.5 kmpl.
The petrol variant of Tata Nexon has an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 6.99 lakh, which goes up to Rs 11.34 lakh on its top variant. At the same time, the initial ex-showroom price of its diesel variant is Rs 8.44 lakh, which goes up to Rs 12.69 lakh on its top variant.
