Huawei Mate X2 with Kirin 9000 launched: Check specs and features

New Delhi (Anish Yande): Huawei has unveiled a new foldable device, the Huawei Mate X2. The Mate X2 is the successor to the Huawei Mate X, which was launched in 2019. The Huawei Mate X2 comes with a display that is an inward folding display, instead of an outward folding display like the Huawei Mate X.

Specs of Huawei Mate X2:

Huawei Mate X2 features an 8.0-inch OLED display with a screen resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels. The cover display of the Mate X is a 6.45-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1160 x 2700 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The Mate X2 comes with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with a pixel density of 388 ppi. Huawei device comes with a screen-to-body ratio of 87.3 percent and a refresh rate of 90Hz. 

The unfolded display of the Mate X2 measures 161.8 x 145.8 x 8.2 mm in dimensions and the folded display measures 161.8 x 74.6 x 14.7 mm. The Mate X2 weighs 295 grams. 

Huawei Mate X2 comes with a quad rear camera setup with a primary sensor of 50-megapixels with a secondary sensor of a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The Huawei device has an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and a 16-megapixels ultrawide lens. 

The Mate X2 comes with a 16 megapixels camera on the front. 

Huawei Mate X2 is powered by the octa-core Kirin 9000 5G processor paired with Mali-G78 MP24 GPU. 

The battery of the Red Magic 5G is a 4,500 mAh paired with fast charging support of 55W.

Connectivity features of Huawei Mate X2 include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/A-GPS + GLONASS,  USB Type-C 3.1 charging port.

Other sensors include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and the fingerprint sensor is placed at the side of the Huawei device.
