Google Pixel 5a 5G launch confirmed: Check all expected features here

New Delhi (Anish Yande): The launch of the Google Pixel 5a 5G was shrouded in mystery for some time. It was unclear whether the Google Pixel 5a 5G would be released. A spokesperson from Google has recently confirmed that the Pixel 5a 5G is not canceled and would be launched later on in 2021. 

Google had launched the Google Pixel 4a in August 2020. The Pixel 5a 5G is expected to be released in August this year as well.  

Specs and features of Google Pixel 5:

Google Pixel 5 features a 6.0-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Google Pixel 5 comes with a pixel density of 432 ppi with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.  The screen-to-body ratio of Google Pixel 5 is 82.3 percent. The Google device comes with HDR10+ support and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The Google Pixel 5 comes with dimensions of 144.7 x 70.4 x 8 mm and 151 grams. Google Pixel device comes with IP68 rating with dust and water resistance upto 1.5 meters for 30 mins.

Google Pixel 5 features a dual rear camera setup which includes a primary sensor of 12.2-megapixels with an aperture of f/1.7. The Google device includes a 16-megapixels sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens. 

The selfie shooter of Google Pixel 5 is a 8-megapixel Samsung GH1+ sensor with an aperture of f/2.0. Google Pixel 5 runs on Android 11, out-of-the-box.

The Google Pixel 5 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G processor paired with an Adreno 620 GPU.

Google Pixel 5 packs a 4,080 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. 

Connectivity features of the Pixel 5 include  5G, 4G LTE,  Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 6, and two USB Type-C ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. 

Other sensors of Pixel 5 include compass, proximity, accelerometer, gyro, barometer. The Fingerprint sensor of Google Pixel 5 is rear-mounted.
