New Delhi: The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has given a big relief to students by making a big announcement. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the state has not been able to open schools since last year.
Due to this, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to promote all14 government school students from class 1 to 8 in the next class without examination this year.
Soon after its order to close all schools and colleges in the state, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued an order to promote all. Director-General of School Education Vijay Kiran Anand has issued orders to Basic Education Officers of various districts.
However, this order is only for government-run schools. No order has been given for private schools in the state. Also, the new academic session will start on April 1.
As instructed, students will be evaluated at the end of April on the competencies of previous classes. The first examinations were scheduled to begin on March 25.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath ordered the closure of all schools from classes 1 to 8 for the Holi holidays from March 24. All other schools and colleges, whose exams are not scheduled, will be closed from March 25-31.
This decision was taken in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19. The schools were closed for several months in 2020, after a reopening, it has been decided to close again.
