Good News: Central government issues Unlock 5 guidelines … Know what will be allowed

New Delhi: With Unlock 5 coming up next month, the government is about to offer major relief to movie theaters owners, who had to shut down their businesses during the coronavirus lockdown.

The Union Home Ministry has issued guidelines for Unlock 5 on Wednesday.

The government has approved the opening of cinema hall with 50 percent viewer capacity during Unlock 5 .  From October 15, cinema halls, theaters, multiplexes will open in the country with 50% capacity. For this, Ministry of Information Broadcasting will issue detailed guidelines.

With this, business to business meeting exhibition, swimming pool, entertainment park etc. will be opened for the training of players. Although the rules for opening these are yet to be announced.

The decision to reopen schools and colleges will have to be taken by the state government.

From October 15, educational institutions can be opened in phased manner. Meanwhile, classes will continue to be held online.

If students wants to attend online classes without going to school or college, then he/she will be allowed to do so. The student must obtain a parent’s written permission to go to school or college. States must issue a Standard Operating Procedure SOP to open educational institutions.
