New Delhi: Juggjugg Jeeyo, starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, was released in theatres on Friday. The Raj Mehta directorial has opened to rave reviews. Critics and fans alike have all things nice to say about the film. And, latest to shower praises on the film is Alia Bhatt. The actor, who is currently shooting for her Hollywood film Heart of Stone, took to Instagram to laud the film. Jugjugg Jeeyo also marks Alia’s mother-in-law Neetu’s return to the screen after several years and her first film after the demise of her husband Rishi Kapoor.
The actress, who is quite active on social media, took to her Instagram handle and shared the poster of JugJugg Jeeyo poster on her story and hailed her mother-in-law’s performance and the team of Raj Mehta’s directorial. In the caption, Alia wrote, “Full on entertainer!! Laughed, cried, clapped and cheered. @neetu54 you are just mindblowing. @anilskapoor you had us laughing all the time. @varundvn you’re a star. @kiaraaliaadvani you’ve made me cryyy. @raj_a_mehta always hitting it out of the park!” along with heart emotions.

Alia and Neetu share a great bond and the veteran actor often mentions her daughter-in-law in her interactions. In fact, Neetu also revealed that she had taken Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s advice before taking up JugJugg Jeeyo. “My family usually asks me. Like a second opinion, but not always. So whenever they have a doubt, they’ll give me the script and I will go through it. But I did share it with both of them – Alia and Ranbir,” Neetu had told NDTV.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia will next be seen in Brahmastra, which marks her first on-screen appearance with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. The actor also has Jee Le Zaraa, with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in her pipeline. She is set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone.
