FIR against Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani for flouting Covid-19 norms

New Delhi: An FIR was registered against Bollywood actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani on Wednesday for allegedly flouting the guidelines introduced in backdrop of Coronavirus disease(Covid-19). Reportedly, the rumoured couple was seen roaming at a public place without any valid reason. 

The duo were reported to be strolling near the Bandra bandstand in the evening, past the 2 pm deadline set by the state government to keep Covid spread in check.  

“A police team spotted Tiger Shroff roaming in the Bandstand area in the evening. When questioned, he couldn’t give a satisfactory reply about why he was roaming outside. The police took down his details and registered a case under relevant section of the Indian Penal Code for “disobeying the order of public servant”, the official said.

It has been reported that the rumoured couple was enjoying a drive around Bandra after their gym session. While Tiger was sitting in the back seat, Disha was sitting in the front. No arrest was made since it was a bailable offence. The actors left after the police checked their Aadhar card and completed other formalities in the case. 

As per Maharashtra government’s guidelines, the citizens are allowed to step only for essential services, which have been permitted to remain open only between 7 AM and 2 PM in the ongoing lockdown, that is in force till June 15. Even as the number of daily cases in the state has gone dipped, CM Uddhav Thackerary has cautioned people against losing their guards and has said that they are preparing against the third wave of novel virus.

As for Tiger and Disha, who have shared screen space several times, are rumoured to be dating since past few years. However, the duo has always affirmed to being friends only. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Disha was last seen opposite Salman Khan in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ and will next star in ‘Ek Villain 2’. On the other hand, Tiger will next be seen in ‘Ganpat’, ‘Heropanti 2’ and ‘Rambo’.
