Fatima Sana Shaikh is the reason behind Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s divorce? Know here

New Delhi: Earlier today Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao released a statement announcing divorce after 15 years of marriage. They married on December 28, 2005, and in 2011, the couple had their first child, Azad Rao Khan, through surrogacy. Now, as soon as this news came out, Fatima Sana Shaikh, who debuted in Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s Dangal started trending on Twitter. She is being trolled as netizens call her the alleged reason for Aamir’s divorce.

Many controversial tweets are being made on Twitter about Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh. While some fans are saying that the reason for Aamir’s divorce from Kiran is Fatima, some have started calling Fatima, Aamir’s third wife. Not only this, but some fans have also started calling the actor ‘Love Jihadi.’ Mr. Perfectionist has also divorced Reena Dutta before Kiran Rao.

On the divorce, Aamir and Kiran have given an official statement, “In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy, and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect, and love. Now we would like to start a new chapter in our life – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family to each other. We began a planned separation a while back, and now feel comfortable formalizing the arrangement, sharing our lives as one extended family despite living apart.”

Further, they added, “We are dedicated parents to our son Azad, whom we will raise together. We will also continue to collaborate on films, our foundation, and other projects that we feel passionate about. Many thanks to our families and friends for their continued support and understanding of this development in our relationship, and without whom we would not have been so safe to take this leap. We seek best wishes and blessings from our well-wishers and hope that – like us – you will not see this divorce as the end but as the beginning of a new journey.”
