Fashion designer Vikram Phadnis tests positive for COVID-19, under home quarantine

New Delhi: Fashion designer Vikram Phadnis is the latest Indian celebrity who has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. He informed his fans and followers in a post on Instagram on March 26. On his Instagram stories, Vikram shared that he has isolated himself at home and is “taking every precaution.” He wrote, “I’ve tested positive for COVID and would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest. I am taking every precaution and have isolated myself at home”.

Talking about Vikram’s professional career, he is a leading fashion designer in Bollywood. He has designed outfits for celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Bipasha Basu.

Apart from Vikram, many Bollywood celebrities have tested positive for Covid-19. Milind Soman, R Madhavan, Kartik Aaryan, and Aamir Khan have been infected with the virus. This week, Aamir Khan’s spokesperson had confirmed that the actor was in quarantine due to Covid, “Mr Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols, and he’s doing fine.”

While the Covid-19 cases are rising in Mumbai, many celebrities have also taken the first jab of the Covid-19 vaccine. Actors like Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Hema Malini, Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Satish Shah, Johny Lever and Rakesh Roshan had received Covid-19 vaccine. Recently, Salman Khan took the first dose and shared it on Twitter, “Took my first dose of vaccine today.”
