New York: Want to keep wholesome? Eating an excessive amount of sugar gained’t assist as researchers have discovered that sugar consumption is linked with larger fat deposits around the heart and within the stomach, that are dangerous for well being.
“When we consume too much sugar the excess is converted to fat and stored. This fat tissue located around the heart and in the abdomen releases chemicals into the body which can be harmful to health,” stated examine creator So Yun Yi from the University of Minnesota within the US.

For the findings, revealed within the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, the analysis workforce examined each sugar-sweetened drinks (akin to mushy drinks, fruit drinks, vitality drinks) and sugar added to meals and drinks for sweetness (for instance when cooking or in processed meals).
