Diljit Dosanjh vs Kangana Ranaut turns into a meme fest, check out hilarious tweets



New Delhi: What started as Diljit Dosanjh’s clarification on Kangana Ranaut’s defamatory comment on a woman involved with ongoing farmers protests has now turned into an ugly verbal spat. While both the actors continue to slam each other with hard-hitting words, Twitteratis are having the time of their lives. Meanwhile, meme makers have turned the debate into a meme-fest using various pop culture references. 

Fans of both Diljit and Kangana have come out in the support of their respective favourite, however, memers have mostly targeted the Manikarnika actress.

For the uninformed, Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh got engaged in massive Twitter battle over former’s earlier Tweet involving an elderly woman. In her now deleted tweet, Kangana had called the lady in question Shaheen Bagh’s Bilkis Bano who can be bought in Rs 100. Diljit then took to  his Twitter account and shared a video wherein the woman was identified as Mahinder Kaur. 

Prior to this, Kangana was indulged in a battle of words with former Bigg Boss contestant and actor Himanshi Khurana who has been voicing her support to farmers’ protests. 

Sharing one of Kangana’s tweets wherein she was seen talking about the demolition of her property, Himanshi had written, ““Apna ghar bachane ke lie thankful hmm miss par dusra apna ghar bchaye to galt .. wahi to sabke paas vip links nahi hote (You fought for your own house, but can’t handle others fighting for theirs. Not everyone has a VIP pass)”. She also tagged shameless to address Kangana.

Renowned Punjbai singer Ammy Virk also slammed Kangana Ranaut for calling farmers protest a political agenda and wrote, “Sister, shame on you, there is nothing more than people. You talk about your own senior citizens. You rocked the whole world when a portion of your building in Bombay was demolished, here the government has killed our rights.”
