Covid-19: PM Modi to hold virtual meeting with chief ministers on March 17

In terms of COVID cases, India is witnessing a massive surge. Earlier, five states were contributing to 80 percent of the overall COVID cases, but there are seven states that have witnessed a sudden spike in COVID cases. It is being reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to have a virtual meeting with Chief Ministers of the state. It is also being reported that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will also take part in the meeting. The meeting will be chaired tomorrow in order to take stock of the COVID situation in the country.
