New Delhi: Amid the good news on the coronavirus vaccine, an all-party meeting is going to be held on Friday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi, and Minister of State Arjun Ram Meghwal will also be present in this meeting.
Apart from BJP President JP Nadda and Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, Suresh Bandopadhyay from TMC, Pinaki Mishra from BJD, Ram Gopal Yadav from Samajwadi Party, Sharad Pawar from NCP, Nageswara Rao from TRS, Midhun Reddy from YSR Congress, TR Balu from DMK and Vinayak Raut from Shiv Sena wil also be present.
The all-party meeting will take place through video conferencing at 10:30 am on Friday.
Significantly, this is the second time since the Covid-19 pandemic started when the government convened an all-party meeting to discuss the situation arising out of the coronavirus. It is being said that in this meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi will discuss with the leaders about the coronavirus vaccine along with the latest COVID-19 situation in the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held several meetings with the chief ministers of various states to review the status and condition of the coronavirus pandemic.
Prime Minister Narendta Modi had a video conference on Monday with three teams working on the development and manufacturing of the Covid-19 vaccine.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited the premises of pharmaceutical companies of Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Pune to review the work being done for the development of the Covid-19 vaccine. It is expected that in Friday’s meeting, PM Modi will give all information about the coronavirus vaccine.
