Taipei: China is threatening Taiwan with regular military maneuvers following the ever-increasing proximity of the tiny island nation with the US.
The People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) of China has constantly threatened Taiwan by sending its warplanes to violate the air space of the island nation.
The Taiwan Air Force Command has reported that two Chinese anti-submarine aircraft entered Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on two separate occasions on Tuesday (September 29).

In response, the Taiwanese air force sent fighter jets and issued a radio warning asking them to return. Taiwan also deployed air defense missile systems to monitor China’s incursions. This is the 16th time that Chinese aircraft have entered ADIZ since September 16.
On September 16, the PLAAF had sent Y-8 aircraft southwest of Taiwan’s ADIZ. Two Chinese aircraft entered the region two days later on 18 September, crossing the midline in the Taiwan Strait.
