CBSE to use advanced data analytics in exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday announced that the board will use advance data analytics to detect cases/centres.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Tuesday announced that the board will use advanced data analytics to detect cases/centres.

“CBSE will use advanced data analytics to detect, respond and therefore, in the long run, prevent any irregularities in academic testing across all major CBSE administered exams in the country,” read the press release.

“This will be used to strengthen the reliability of National Achievement Survey (NAS), Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) and Board examinations conducted by CBSE,” it added.

The advance data analytics will be used for monitoring and detecting the wrongful activities during the examination across all major CBSE administered exams in the nation.

Through this analytical data, the board is aimed at finding out the hotspots where malpractices occur during exams. The necessary measures will be taken on the basis of evaluation.
