CBSE Class 12th evaluation criteria may be issued within two weeks

New Delhi: In view of the current situation of corona infection, CBSE has decided to cancel the 12th board examinations. Since then many states have also decided to cancel the pending examinations.

But still many questions are arising in the mind of parents and students. How will admissions in undergraduate courses be done in August? When will the result be released? If you are not satisfied with the marks then till when will you be able to give the exam? Will Delhi University reduce its cutoff this time?

Meanwhile, CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi says that the evaluation criteria will be issued within two weeks. Let us tell you that on June 1, Prime Minister Narendra Modi canceled the CBSE board’s 12th class examinations. The Prime Minister had canceled the 12th examinations due to the situation arising out of the corona virus, and keeping in mind the health and safety of the students.

The statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that the Class XII results will be prepared in a time bound manner as per well defined objective criteria. It was also said that students who are not satisfied with the marks obtained from the objective criteria will be given an option to appear in the examination after the coronavirus situation normalises.

Based on various reports, passing students of class XII this year can see the performance of three years in their schools. It is one of the most talked about evaluation criteria that the students are evaluated on the basis of their marks in classes IX, X and XI respectively in the previous years. Apart from this, another option of evaluation criteria can be made 12th practical and pre-board examinations.

The internal evaluation process should be followed for the 12th result which should include the 12th pre board and test marks. Let us tell you that after the cancellation of class XII examination by CBSE, about 8 boards including UP, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana have canceled the XII examination.
