New York: It seems Spider-Man: No Way Home actor Tom Holland is actually thinking of starting up a nest of his own! The 25-year-old actor who has gained global recognition for sporting the friendly neighbourhood superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has perhaps played the character for the third and last time.

Now surely this must be a not so good news for almost all of Holland’s fan. But let see what is he planning next!

In an interaction with People Magazine, Holland said he finds his stint playing the masked crusader for the third time bittersweet. Talking to the magazine, Holland said, “I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve been so grateful to Marvel and Sony for giving us the opportunity and keeping us on and allowing our characters to progress. It’s been amazing.”

The actor goes on to add that while he does not want to say goodbye to the character of Spider-Man, he feels that they might be ready to part ways.

Holland, who started playing the role of Peter Parker from Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2015 now says that it may be time to pass on the torch.

The actor adds, “I don’t want to be responsible for holding back the next young person that comes in who deserves it just as much so.”

While Holland may feel like he is ready to let the reigns go for Spider-Man, he has quite an impressive lineup otherwise with the Fred Astaire biopic and the 2022 release Uncharted with Mark Wahlberg.
