Brisbane Test: Australia in strong position at tea on Day 4

Brisbane: Excellent batting by Steve Smith and Cameron Green powered Australia to a winning position at Tea on Day Four of the fourth and final Test against India at The Gabba in Brisbane.

Steven Smith scored a quick 55 off just 74 deliveries before being dismissed by Mohammed Siraj while Cameron Green posted a steady 37. 

At the end of the post-lunch session on Day 4, Australia had posted 243/7 in their second innings. Tailenders Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc were at the crease on 2 and 1 respectively. 

Play was interrupted by rain which forced umpires to call for an early Tea break.

Australia have now extended their lead to 276
