Bollywood veteran actor-filmmaker Lalit Bahl passes away due to Covid-19

New Delhi: At present, there has been an outcry in the entire country due to the coronavirus pandemic. Everyone is in the grip of it and many people have lost their lives. Bollywood veteran actor and filmmaker Lalit Bahl has passed away due to coronavirus. 71-year-old Lalit tested positive for Covid 19 last week, he was then admitted to the hospital where he was undergoing treatment. But during the treatment, he took his last breath on Friday and his son Kanu Bahl gave out the information.

Speaking to the news agency PTI, Lalit Bahl’s son Kanu Bahl said, ‘My father passed away in the afternoon. He had heart problems and his difficulties increased due to Covid. He had an infection in his lungs which was serious and his health complications made it more difficult.’

Let me tell you that Lalit Bahl was a well-known name of the theater. He directed and produced the telefilms serials’Tapish’, ‘Atish’ and ‘Sunehri Jild’ on Doordarshan. Not only this, but Lalit also acted in serials like ‘Afsane’. At the same time, he recently appeared in the films, ‘Mukti Bhawan’ and ‘Titli’ that was directed by his son. Lalit has also worked in the web series ‘Made in Heaven’ on Amazon Prime Video. Also, his film ‘Judicial Hai Kya’ released in 2019.

The death of Lalit Bahl has shaken the entire industry. Everyone is expressing grief over his death on social media. Actor Adil Hussain, who worked with him in the film ‘Mukti Bhawan’, paid tribute to him on Twitter. He wrote, “Extremely saddened by the demise of one of my dearest and most respected Co-actors, Lalit Behl jee. Who, so brilliantly played the father in @MuktiBhawan! I feel the loss of my father again! Dear Kanu I am so very sorry for your loss!”
