BJP president JP Nadda to launch ‘Report to Nation’ on May 30

BJP national president JP Nadda will release a book ‘Report to Nation’ on May 30 on the completion of eight years of the Modi government. The book will highlight the work done by the Modi government all these years.

Nadda is meeting all the Union ministers at the party office and taking inputs on the achievements of every ministry which can be included in the book. On Thursday, Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Rajeev Chandrashekhar, Anurag Thakur and Ashwini Vaishnav came to the BJP office to meet Nadda and brief him about the achievements of their ministry. Sources told ET that more ministers are likely to meet Nadda over the next couple of days.

Apart from this, the BJP will strengthen its focus on tribals and Dalits and is planning to organise two rallies — one for tribals and one of SCs.

Nadda will visit Ranchi for two days starting June 3. On the first day of his visit, he will address a tribal mahasamagam called ‘Birsa Munda’ rally. “PM Narendra Modi has done tremendous work for the tribal community and honoured several tribal legends. He announced that Birsa Munda birth anniversary be celebrated as Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas,” Deepak Prakash, Jharkhand BJP president, told ET. The venue of the meeting is yet to be finalised. Prakash will be in Delhi on Friday to meet the senior party leaders to discuss the programme.

A rally of the SC community will be organised in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, the date for which has not been finalised yet. “PM Modi has brought Mhow, the birth place of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, to people’s attention with so much work being done at the place. The central government has done much in honour of Dr Ambedkar and we will celebrate this in the form of a rally in Mhow,” Madhya Pradesh BJP president, VD Sharma, told ET.
