Bisaat- Khel Shatranj Ka trailer out: Sandeepa Dhar is a suspect of killing her client’s husband, watch here

New Delhi: The trailer of ‘Bisaat- Khel Shatranj Ka’, a psychological thriller web series by director Vikram Bhatt has been released on MX player’s official Instagram handle. Sandeepa Dhar will be seen playing the lead role in it. The series will be streamed on the OTT platform from 15 April 2021. 

Sandeepa plays the role of psychiatrist Kianna Verma in Bisaat. Kiana Verma is a new-age open-minded girl, full of aspirations but still a girl with a fully complicated life. There is a failed marriage, which she is trying to fix. Also, her professional life is going through a lot of problems. Here, she will be struggling to balance her personal and professional life. 

Talking about the preparations for the role, Sandeepa said, “I spent one and a half months with a psychiatric doctor to understand the medical practice and to take into account the nuances of her personal life and professional life.”

Sandeepa says- “Shooting for Bissat was very challenging for me emotionally. We did 50 days of shooting and these 50 days were the most intense days of my life emotionally. However, as an actor, this character has been very new yet satisfying for me. ” 

Apart from Sandeepa, Omkar Kapoor, Khalid Siddiqui, Jiya Mustafa, Leena Jumani, Coral Bhamra, Ashmita Bakshi, Trishan Maini, and Tanvi Thakkar will also be seen in pivotal roles in ‘Bisaat’. The series has a total of eight episodes and they will all stream on 15th April this year. 

In the storyline, Radhika is a patient of Kiana and there are problems in her marriage. Kiana’s difficulties increase when Radhika’s husband is killed and she becomes the prime suspect. This is followed by a round of blackmail, revelations, and intrigues. Vikram Bhatt is known for making thrillers and this one is definitely up to the mark he has created.
