Patna: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is in Bihar for a one-day visit. Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, greeted him at the Patna airport. Along with CM Nitish Kumar, the BJP state president Sanjay Jaiswal was present on this occasion.
The Union Home Minister will spend the entire day in Bihar, participating in public and political events, beginning with a programme honouring freedom fighter Veer Kunwar Singh as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
After a day of attending various events in Madhya Pradesh, Shah arrived in Bihar’s capital. His visit to Bihar is part of a three-day trip to Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Puducherry, which began on Friday.
According to plans, Shah will travel to Jagdishpur in the state’s Bhojpur district to attend an event commemorating ‘Babu Veer Kunwar Singh Vijayutsav.’
The Home Minister will garland the photograph of freedom fighter Babu Veer Kunwar Singh as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at the event and then address a crowd.
Shah will then travel to the Jamuhar area of Bihar’s Sasaram district, where he will deliver the inaugural address of Gopal Narayan Singh Vishwavidyalaya.
