There has been a big political upheaval in Bihar. Four out of five AIMIM MLAs joined the RJD. AIMIM’s Muhammad Izhar Asfi from Kochadhaman seat, Shahnawaz Alam from Jokihat assembly and Baysi seat of Purnia have also been captured by AIMIM who joined RJD. MIMIM’s Syed Ruknuddin Ahmed has won from this seat.
The biggest news at this time is from the political corridor of Bihar where RJD has become the largest party. 4 out of 5 MLAs of AIMIM have joined RJD. Owaisi’s party in Bihar has broken into AIMIM. 4 out of 5 MLAs have joined RJD. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav had reached the Bihar Assembly by driving his own car today. It is being told that the four MLAs of AIMIM have also reached the assembly with them.
Today Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav reached the Bihar Legislative Assembly and gave a letter to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly about four MLAs of Owaisi’s party AIMM joining the RJD. Let us inform that after the Bochaha by-election, the number of members of RJD has increased to 75 plus one i.e. 76. Now after getting the support of four AIMM MLAs, the number of RJD MLAs has reached 80. That is, RJD has 80 MLAs as compared to 77 MLAs of BJP.
The RJD was successful in defeating the BJP in the House, which has a total of 77 MLAs. In fact, recently the BJP had succeeded in breaking three MLAs of Mukesh Sahni’s VIP, after which the number of members of the party increased to 77. But this rule of BJP did not last long and now RJD has become the single largest party in the house with 80 MLAs.
While RJD snatched the tag of being the single largest party to the BJP, it proved itself as the most acceptable party in the Muslim community. In 2020, when Owaisi’s party won 5 MLAs, both RJD and JD(U) were worried about keeping the Muslim vote bank in their favour. Sources say that not only the RJD but also the JDU, efforts were being made to get these MLAs in their side. However, Owaisi’s MLAs have considered it safer to go with the RJD.
This will also result in strengthening the Yadav-Muslim equation of the party in the coming days with the departure of four Muslim community MLAs along with the RJD. With this, RJD will get more benefit in the areas of Seemanchal where these rebel MLAs have a hold.
