Babil Khan shares throwback pics while he misses father Irrfan Khan: ‘was trying to look like him’



New Delhi: Late actor Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan is very active on social media. His Instagram account is a box filled with memories of the late actor. He keeps sharing priceless memories of his father on Instagram. On Tuesday, he shared two pictures with his father from the years 2016 and 2017 and wrote, “June 2016 & June 2017. one year apart, I was trying to look like him and he was trying to look like me.”

While in the first pic, Babil can be seen sporting a hat and glasses that can remind anyone of Irrfan, Another one seems to be from a party. The father-son duo is dressed in black in the picture. Actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Dia Mirza dropped heart emojis on the post.

Earlier Babil treated Irrfan’s fans with a rare photo of his parents from a play and a selfie they clicked together. He took to his Instagram and shared a black and white photo of his parents Irrfan and Sutapa Sikdar, enacting on stage, during what appears to be a scene from a play, at the National School of Drama, New Delhi. Babil also shared another picture taken by the couple in which they can be seen posing together for a selfie against an audience.”Mamma and baba in NSD cut to mamma and baba 35 years later,” he captioned the picture. In the comment section, fans pour love for the emotional and adorable post.

Talking about the love story of his parents, Irrfan and Sutapa met when they were studying at the NSD in New Delhi. The couple went on to marry and welcome two children, Babil, and Ayaan Khan. The actor died in April last year after a long battle with a neuroendocrine tumor. He was last seen in Homi Adajania’s film ‘Angrezi Medium’ which was released in March, just before the coronavirus lockdown was put into place.
