Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly tests positive for COVID-19, urges fans to stay safe

New Delhi: Anupama actor Rupali Ganguly has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. She informed her fans about her diagnosis on social media. Rupali took to her official Instagram handle and shared a picture of herself, posing with a helmet on her head and wearing a colorful dupatta. In her post, she wrote “MA Corona Devi Tu hai ki nahiiiii ( mild to asymptomatic)Ye kya hua kaise hua kab hua Jab hua tab hua …. chhodo ye na poocho (sic),”

She further added, “This is the kind of positive I didn’t want to be. Producer Rajan Shahi commented on Rupali’s post and wrote, “IT WILL TEACH SUMTHING GOOD ONLY AND GOOOOOO AWAY MY “ANUPAMAA (sic).”

Not just Rupali, actor Aashish Mehrotra who plays the role of her on-screen son, has also been tested positive of the coronavirus. Covid-19 cases are on a rise in the television industry.
