Anil Kapoor birthday: Sonam Kapoor turns nostalgic, Rhea Kapoor shares emotional pic

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor turned a year older on Friday. The actor, who is celebrating his 65th birthday today, has received heartfelt birthday wishes from his family.  

His eldest daughter and actor Sonam Kapoor took to Instagram to wish her father. Sharing some throwback pictures, she wrote, “Happiest Birthday, daddy! Your courage, humility, and warmth always inspires me. There is no one like you, and I couldn’t have wished for a better father. There may be distance between us but you’re my heart, so you’re always with me. Love you!”

Rhea Kapoor shared an emotional picture to wish her ‘Soul Twin’. The picture was from her wedding day wherein she was seen hugging her father, while he looked at camera wih tears in his eyes. “Happy birthday to my Soul Twin. @anilskapoor I love you more than I can ever tell you. Best friends forever,” she wrote. 

Arjun Kapoorshared a rib-tickling birthday message for his uncle Anil Kapoor’s birthday and has called him ‘a storehouse of youth’ and an ‘everlasting beauty’.

He captioned the pictures: “Youth ka Khazana Joshila Jawaani ka Namuna Sirf Evergreen hi nahin, Aisi Everlasting beauty kabhi dekhi hi nahin, He ages like fine wine And makes all other actors whine Din-b-din young hote rehte hain toh inka kya kasoor, It’s the curious case of Anil Kapoor! P.S.: Happy birthday to my Jhakkas chachu. What a playa!”

Anil Kapoor’s son-in-law and filmmaker Karan Boolani shared a glimpse of birthday celebrations. “Happy birthday @anilskapoor , hope you get time to take a break today and do the things you love. Your happiness matters a lot, today and always. ❤️🎈” he captioned it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Anil Kapoor has a number of projects lined up for the coming year. He recently joined Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Fighter. He also has Karan Johar’s Takht, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Ranveer Singh, and Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Neetu Kapoor and Varun Dhawan lined up for the year.
