New Delhi: It has been 7 days since Ayushmann Khuranna’s An Action Hero released in the theatres. The movie which hit the theatres on December 2, still failed to even cross Rs 10 crore at the box office. On its seventh day, the comedy crime thriller failed to draw any money.
Helmed by Anirudh Iyer, the film is facing stiff competition from Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya.
An Action Hero had an overall 8.45 per cent Hindi occupancy on December 8. The movie, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat opened with Rs 1.50 crore (India nett) collections. As per trade reports, An Action Hero on its day 7, collected very low numbers at the ticket window. The movie hardly saw any decent footfall. Its single-day collection was just Rs 85 lakh, taking the total nett domestic biz of the movie in the vicinity of Rs 9.58 crore.
