Amitabh Bachchan shares rare picture of his ‘first live performance’ at Madison Square Garden

New Delhi: Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is very active on social media. He keeps treating his fans by sharing precious throwback pictures. On Thursday, Amitabh has shared a photo on his social media from the first time he performed live. He did it at the Madison Square Garden, in New York. Taking to his Instagram handle, the senior Bachchan posted the picture, which shows a young Amitabh, holding a microphone, engrossed in his performance. There is a signboard behind the actor which reads, “Live tonite Amitabh Bachchan”. 

In the caption, Amitabh wrote, “1983 .. !!! My first LIVE performance .. that sign board at the back is Madison Square Garden New York .. the first ever Indian performer at this most prestigious World Stadium ..”  As soon as the image hit the photo-sharing platform, Amitabh’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, who is an avid social media user, was among the first ones to respond to the post. Navya took to the comments section and dropped a red-heart emoji. Amitabh’s fans too showered love and dropped heart and fire emojis on the post.

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan announced that he will be a part of Deepika Padukone starrer The Intern.Big B took to his official Twitter handle and wrote , “One more time .. Indian Adaptation of #TheIntern. Looking forward to working with @iAmitRSharma @deepikapadukone.” Apart from The Intern, talking about Amitabh’s Workfront, he was last seen in ‘Gulabo Sitabo’. The veteran actor has an impressive line-up of films in the pipeline including Rumi Jaffery-directed ‘Chehre’, Ayan Mukerji’s superhero movie ‘Brahmastra’, and Nagraj Manjule’s sports film ‘Jhund’
