Amitabh Bachchan appreciates Abhishek Bachchan in his recent post

New Delhi: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is very active on social media. He loves to share interesting posts to keep his fans entertained and updated. Recently, The 78-year-old superstar dedicated a son appreciation post to Abhishek Bachchan and attached a heart-warming note to it. Amitabh took to his Instagram handle and shared a candid picture with Abhishek. In the picture, they both can be seen pointing at something on which both the stars have their eyes on. “When your Son starts wearing your shoes .. and tells you which path to take .. he is no longer your Son .. he becomes your friend .. All the best buddy .. remember .. WHTCTW.” Big B captioned the post. Abhishek reacted to the post with a hug emoji and even comedian Kapil Sharma reacted with a heart emoji.

Amitabh’s “All the best buddy” part of the caption pointed towards how the two actors are gearing up for a box office clash of their films which are slated for a release on the same weekend of April, Amitabh’s ‘Chehre’ and Abhishek’s ‘The Big Bull’.

Amitabh has a lot to be proud of himself as well. On Friday, he was honoured with the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) award by filmmakers Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan via a virtual ceremony. The veteran actor is the first Indian to be honoured with the award for his contribution in preserving India’s film heritage.

Taking to Twitter, the actor shared a couple of pictures receiving the honour and said expressed his gratitude. He tweeted, “Deeply honoured to have been conferred the 2021 FIAF Award. Thank you FIAF, Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan for bestowing the award on me in the ceremony today.  Modern technology be praised. Connected virtually to rest of the World simultaneously ” The actual award was presented to Amitabh Bachchan by Shivendra Singh Dungarpur in Mumbai.

On the Workfront, Abhishek was last seen in Ludo, where he played a retired goon. He has two interesting projects in his line-up – biographical movie The Big Bull and crime thriller Bob Biswas. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s impressive line-up of films includes projects such as Brahmastra, Chehre, Jhund and Mayday
