After CBSE board, Maharashtra Class 12th Board exam gets cancelled

Mumbai: The Maharashtra board also cancelled the 12th examinations. The government has taken this decision due to lack of relief in the cases of covid-19 infection in the state. This decision has been taken today i.e. on June 3, 2021 in the meeting of Disaster Management. While the evaluation criterion has not been finalized yet, it is expected that it can be announced soon.

Earlier in Maharashtra, the Education Minister told that the government has agreed to cancel the HSC exam 2021. In view of the safety of the students, a proposal to cancel the examination was prepared and sent to the State Disaster Management Authority. The SDM has approved the proposal of the government.

On the other hand, while giving his reaction on the cancellation of 12th examinations, School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that there is no doubt that the 12th examination is very important in the life of a student, but in view of the present circumstances, the health and mental health of our children are affected and should be given priority.

At the same time, in view of the increasing cases of covid-19, the Maharashtra government had already canceled the 10th examination. In this regard, the School Education Minister had also told that the result of class 10 students will be prepared on the basis of internal assessment. Let us inform that before the Maharashtra Board, many states of the country have canceled the 10th and 12th examinations.

After the decision of the CBSE Board, other states of the country also took a decision on the same lines. At the same time, after the cancellation of CBSE Board 12th examination in the meeting chaired by PM Modi in the past, now most of the states have canceled the 12th examinations.
