New Delhi (Anish Yande): Sony has launched a new device geared towards professional photographers. The Sony Xperia Pro is a one of its kind device which can also be used as an attachable monitor for cameras while recording or taking photos. The Xperia Pro comes with 5G connectivity for users.
Sony has targeted its phone towards content creators, which include professional photographers and videographers.
Price of Sony Xperia Pro:
The Xperia Pro comes in variants of 8GB of RAM and 256GB and 12GB of RAM and 512GB. The Xperia Pro comes with a hefty price tag of $2500, which is around Rs. 1,80,500.

The specifications for the Sony Xperia Pro are mostly similar to the Sony Xperia 1 II.
The display of the Sony Xperia Pro is a 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED display with a screen resolution of 1,644×3,840 pixels. The display of the Xperia Pro comes with an aspect ratio of 21:9.
The dimensions of the Xperia Pro are 170.18×76.2×10.16mm and weighs 225 grams.
The Sony device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Sony Xperia Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.
The Xperia Pro comes with a micro-HDMI connector for connecting to a camera. The HDMI port provides a live feed of the camera’s real-time visuals in a 4K OLED display.
CineAlta has provided a Creator Mode with the device for content creators and photographers.
Sony Xperia Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup, which comes with a primary sensor of 12-megapixel with an f/1.7 lens. The rear camera setup of the Xperia Pro also comes with secondary sensors of a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 lens along with a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens. The sensor is equipped with a 124-degree field-of-view.
Xperia Pro is equipped with a selfie sensor of 8-megapixels with an f/2.0 lens.
The Sony device packs a 4,000 mAh battery with the charging support of Xperia Adaptive Charging.
Connectivity features of the Sony Xperia Pro include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, USB Type-C, micro-HDMI, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
