20-year-old MBBS student ‘gang-raped’ in Rajasthan’s Alwar

A 20-year-old MBBS student was allegedly gang-raped on Tuesday evening, police said.

Alwar (Rajasthan): A 20-year-old MBBS student was allegedly gang-raped on Tuesday evening, police said.

The Alwar Police arrested a 22-year-old man after the girl alleged that she was gang-raped, TOI reported.

The main accused has been identified as Ravi Choudhary, while the second accused, Ravindra Choudhary, is currently absconding. The police is further investigating the involvement of the girl’s batchmate in the case.

The incident took place when the girl’s batchmate invited her to the wedding of his sister in Alwar, according to police. The person sent his friends Ravi and Ravindra in a car to bring the victim to the city for the function.

Later on, Ravi allegedly took the girl to a hotel instead of the wedding venue and raper her while Ravindra stood guard outside the room.
